PT Waskita Beton Precast (Waskita Precast) was officially formed as a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (Waskita) on October 7 2014. Waskita Precast is a concrete manufacturing company precast and ready mix with production capacity currently one of the largest in Indonesia.
The company listed its initial shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on September 20 2016. After the 2016 IPO, the company achieved various achievements, including achieving Alpha 10th Annual Best Deal & Solution Award Southeast Asia 2016, with an absorption of IPO funds of IDR 5,1 trillion.
Then, Waskita Precast also entered Morgan Stanley Capital International Index (MSCI) 2017, Index LQ45 in early 2018, and Kompas 100 Index in 2018. In 2019 received the CSA Award from the Indonesian Securities Analysts Association & CSA Research. And in 2020 we also got it Indonesia Construction Safety Award and CEO Safety Leadership Award from A2K4 Indonesia.
In addition, Waskita Precast obtained 3 (three) integrated management system certifications in 2017, namely ISO 9001: 2015 related to Quality Management System, 14001:2015 regarding Environment Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 regarding Occupational, Health and Safety Management System as an international standard for Occupational Health and Safety/K3 Management Systems. And in 2020, we obtained Anti-Bribery Management System Certification, namely SNI ISO 37001:2016 from Sucofindo.
Currently the company has a production capacity of 3,7 million tons/year, supported by 9 plans 31 batching plant, and 1 quarry spread across the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi. To support the commitment to create product innovation and improve product quality, Waskita Precast built a research center laboratory which is part of the Learning Center Building in the East Karawang area with a land area of 1,1 Ha and a building area of 2.261 m² consisting of the ground floor and workshop used for Research Center Laboratory activities while the 2nd and 3rd floors are used for Learning Center activities.
The Research Center Laboratory has quite complete lab equipment so that it can assist business units in carrying out the required tests, including material testing, mortar testing, paste testing and concrete testing. The construction of this laboratory is also Waskita Precast's step to support the birth of new products and innovations so that it can continue to carry out development projects more optimally.
