GCG Assessment
To determine the level of GCG implementation that has been carried out by the Company, an assessment is carried out routinely once every 1 (one) year by the Company. This is done to provide an overview and evaluation for all parties in the Company to be able to continue to improve performance in order to create a GCG mechanism that can internalize all existing GCG principles. The results of the GCG Assessment are always disclosed to the public and stakeholders, either through the Company's official website or through the Annual Report. Based on the assessment of GCG implementation, the Company is committed to following up on every recommendation for improvement given. sales of company products.
GCG Assessment Implementation Procedures
Measuring the effectiveness of implementing GCG is very much needed by every company, including Waskita Beton Precast, so that the credibility of implementing good governance is always maintained and can be improved. The Company periodically carries out assessments carried out by independent consultants or by work teams from within the Company (self-assessment) who have been appointed and have certain authority so that the assessment process runs independently. The assessment is carried out using certain methods to identify and find out whether there are weaknesses that need special attention from the Company for immediate follow-up. The juridical basis and procedures for implementing GCG assessments in the Company refer to the Ministry of BUMN Regulation SK-16/S.MBU/2012 concerning Indicators/Parameters for Assessment and Evaluation of the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance in State-Owned Enterprises.
Party Carrying Out the Assessment
In 2016, the company had not yet done so self-assessment from GCG implementation. However, it is still under assessment by its parent. Then in 2017, the company ran self-assessment carried out internally by the Company with the assistance of experts. In 2018, the company carried out a GCG assessment for the 2017 financial year which was carried out by a third party. In 2019, the company carried out a GCG assessment for the 2018 financial year carried out by BPKP. Furthermore, in 2020, the company did self-assessment carried out by a Third Party for the 2019 financial year. Then for the 2020 financial year, the Third Party did self-assessment for the company.
