PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (Waskita Precast) is a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (Waskita), a leading state-owned construction company in Indonesia, which is engaged in the concrete manufacturing industry precast and readymix. The Company has successfully carried out various projects in the fields of toll roads, bridges, high-rise buildings and river revitalization.

It started with Waskita, who continued to make the best efforts, by making innovations and breakthroughs so that he could continue to carry out project development optimally. At that time, Waskita gained a lot of trust in handling mega projects and encouraged Waskita to continue to find company development methods and strategies that would make it a leading construction services company.

To support this, Waskita made innovations and breakthroughs in developing the concrete production business by forming a new business unit which has been actively operating since January 1 2013 and on October 7 2014 it became a new subsidiary called PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. 

PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk is a limited liability company established in the Republic of Indonesia based on the Deed of Establishment of Limited Liability Companies No. 10 dated 7 October 2014, made before Fathiah Helmi, SH, Notary in Jakarta, which has received approval from the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number AHU – 29347.40.10.2014 dated 14 October 2014 (Deed of Establishment of the Company No. 10/2014)a and the latest amendment to the Articles of Association with the Deed of Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 23 dated 8 June 2016 made before Fathiah Helmi, SH, Notary in Jakarta.

During its journey, the development of Waskita Precast's production capacity has been quite rapid. The company currently has a production capacity of 3,7 million tons/year, supported by 9 plans 31 batching plant, and 1 quarry.

With the company's performance continuing to grow, PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk feels the need to expand to develop the business into a corporate company. This is the basis for the company to carry out an Initial Public Offering of Shares (Initial Public Offering/IPO) on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on September 20 2016 by releasing 10,54 billion shares at an offering price of IDR 490/share. Therefore, the Company obtained fresh funds from the IPO worth IDR 5,16 trillion with the implementing underwriters being PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Bahana Securities, and PT BNI Securities.
