In an effort to increase management commitment to implementation Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and a culture of reporting deviations (fraud), So a reporting system is needed that refers to applicable regulations and legislation.

Related to implementation efforts Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and including the eradication of corruption, bribery and other fraudulent practices, that an effective way to prevent and combat practices that are contrary to GCG is through a violation reporting mechanism (Whistleblowing System) which will show the number of frauds that have been successfully detected, and the action time is relatively shorter compared to other methods.

Benefits of the Policy Whistleblowing System among others :

  1. Availability of a way to convey important and critical information for the company to parties who must immediately handle it safely.
  2. There is a reluctance to commit violations, due to trust in an effective reporting system.
  3. Availability of early detection mechanisms (early warning system) on the possibility of problems resulting from a violation, can reduce leaks and inefficiencies within the company.
  4. There is an opportunity to handle violation problems internally first, before they escalate into public violations.
  5. Reduce the risks faced by the company as a result of violations in terms of finance, operations, law, work safety and reputation.
  6. Reduce costs in dealing with the consequences of violations.
  7. Improve the company's reputation in the eyes of stakeholders (stakeholders).
  8. Provide input to the company to look further into critical areas and work processes that have internal control weaknesses, as well as to design necessary corrective actions.
  9. Encouraging increased company performance and providing a sense of security in the work environment.
  10. Companies will more easily adapt to regulations relating to implementation Good Corporate Governance.

 

The mechanism for submitting reports of violations or potential violations can be submitted via Email and the reporting period is no more than 3 (three) months. The company provides a dedicated report/complaint submission channel as follows:

WBS as an effort

Every WSBP Personnel and the general public who are aware of violations within the WSBP environment are encouraged to report violations in accordance with the WBS mechanism.

 Deviations/violations or potential deviations/violations that can be reported include corruption, bribery, gratification, conflicts of interest, theft, fraud, ethical violations in accordance with Code of Conduct that apply in the company, and violations of the company's SOP.

 

Type of Violation

1. Admission• Accept anything from a third party that deviates from the provisions as regulated in the guidelines • Accept gifts/parcels in any form and any amount from contractors/consultants/vendors/suppliers or other parties2. Giving• Promising, offering or giving gratuities to third parties in deviation from the provisions set out in the guidelines• Bribing/giving something in any form to third parties, including but not limited to officials in other agencies with the intention of influencing decision making• Giving something in the form of anything to third parties including work partners, providers of goods and services in deviation from the provisions as stipulated in the guidelines • Providing assistance to third parties by using company assets/funds/facilities for and on behalf of individuals.
